Real Cutlist Optimizer started from a simple frustration: the existing tools for optimizing sheet-goods cut lists bury a genuinely useful calculation behind confusing subscription tiers, calculation limits, and cluttered interfaces with unlabeled icon buttons.

The underlying problem — packing rectangular parts onto stock sheets with minimal waste — is well-understood and can run entirely in a browser. There's no reason it should require an account, a payment, or a server round-trip. So we built a version that doesn't.

This site is a multi-page, statically generated build with no tracking scripts and no login wall. The optimizer itself ships as a small amount of dependency-free TypeScript that computes a real, guillotine-cuttable layout directly on your device.

We'd rather the tool be good than the business model be clever.
